Broadcom has significantly raised its AI semiconductor growth outlook as hyperscalers and leading AI companies accelerate investment in custom accelerators, networking chips and massive data-center infrastructure. Broadcom result Q2 fiscal 2026 indicated that the semiconductor and infrastructure software company now expects AI chip revenue of about $115 billion in fiscal 2027, up from its previous forecast of more than $100 billion. More significantly, Broadcom expects AI semiconductor revenue to double to roughly $230 billion in fiscal 2028, highlighting the scale of computing infrastructure being planned by its largest customers. Broadcom's latest forecast comes as Meta Platforms, Google, OpenAI, Anthropic and other major technology companies expand AI computing capacity and look beyond traditional general-purpose GPUs toward custom AI accelerators. Broadcom AI Chip Revenue Reaches $16.7 Billion Broadcom's AI semiconductor business delivered another major increase during the fiscal third quarter. AI chip sales more than tripled to $16.7 billion during the quarter. The expansion helped Broadcom generate total quarterly revenue of $29.59 billion. The results demonstrate how AI infrastructure has become one of Broadcom's most important growth engines.
